How to Rip A DVD

Eh, i was looking all over, and all the dvd conversion, let alone rip'ing programs are all "trials" which u needa pay $30 to use..

So i found out this program, which i obtained off another site.

Ok, before you start, if any of you want to know, "Ripping" A DVD is when you take off the copyright on the DVD disk and convert it to a different format (i.e AVI), and save to your computer.

Step 1: Download and install DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0. (<click hyper link to go to download)
Step 2: Put the DVD you plan on ripping into your DVD Drive. (N.B. Now, remember, when u rip a dvd, you will have to have at least 6-8gb of free space, as when it 'unpacks' the file will expand in size.)
Step 3: Now that you have loaded DVD Decrypter find the drive that your DVD is in (i.e D:\)
Step 4: Find a folder where you want to put the new file in. Click "File Destination" and select a subdirectory to place the new file in.
Step 5: Press the Start Icon, and it should start ripping. Depending on the speed of your DVD drive, it could take 10-40mins.

Well thats about it. Please note, my computer is being a bitch, and i will try to get 3 of the pictures i took, up on this site by the time i get back home from school.
