Amazing what a 15 year-old can do.

 

lol I found this article amusing. If the US Department of Defense can be invaded by a 15 year old hacker, we obviously need some tighter security.

This also reminded me of Spiderman. The whole Uncle Ben line, "With great power, comes great responsibility" thing. He was obviously gifted with incredible intelligence, I found it interesting that he put it to use in that way. A waste, if you ask me.

 

I wonder where he gained his knowledge from?

 

You read up about hacking, join forums, read tuts, apply what you have learnt.

He sounded like a smart kid, pity he killed himself.

Obviously he had some high knowledge of computers at such a young age, and probably could have used that later in life.

Obviously I know that, I read the article...But conspiracy theorists will say "the government killed him and made it look like suicide because he knew too much about blah blah blah"

That's insane. I wonder what he could have become if he would have positively applied his knowledge, to advance technology and whatnot.

 

The legal system turns perfectly NORMAL, talented individuals who, in many cases, have aspirations and dreams; and morphs them into criminals.
"James later violated that probation when he tested positive for drug use and was then subsequently taken into custody by the United States Marshals Service and flown to an Alabama federal correctional facility where he ultimately served six months."
Those six months in jail, which he received probably for smoking pot, scarred him for life. To a young person, the system leaves gashes in your self esteem and changes your personality greatly. The kind of anxiety that is instilled in you, is truly unhealthy. Despite the fact that he committed these cybercrimes, he should have been given his agreed upon lenient sentence. THE JUDGE WHO GAVE HIM PROBATION FOR FIVE YEARS KILLED THIS YOUNG MAN.
