Suggest me a pair of earbuds

Well my iphone headphones don't really provide the sound quality i desire and the loudness during calls that i need, so suggest me a pair of quality earbuds under 40$.

Ah well, this really isn't enough information...do you want in-ear, earbuds, over-ear, sound cancelling, can you give some more specifics? :S

 

What section should this be in than? tech support...nope.
If you know what iphone headphones are then youuu would know that they are in-ear. and basically i want something with good loud sound quality. the music i listen to sounds better with more bass, so keep that in mind too.

 

Okay, first of all - I haven't used standard issue headphones in years. They suck. And you're asking for help, I'm trying to give it to you. Why criticize me lol? Yes, I know they are - I was wondering if you wanted higher quality in-ears, or what. You still didn't answer my question.

 

To be fair he did say earbuds, which I understand to be very much in-ear.

What's your price limit on these? I need to know or I could just recommend the most expensive on the market

But you're wrong; earbuds are not necessarily in-ear [by in-ear, I meant canalphones, the ones that literally go way inside your ear]. Earbuds suck altogether. Get some sound-cancelling headphones. Those are the best.

 

Word. Although GOOD, in-ear headphones make a HUGE difference, like Ultimate Ears stuff. But you can get away with like Sennheiser or even the Creative EP's for like 50 bucks, and they're quite nice too.

He explicitly states earbuds, the iPhone variety (which, not owning an iPhone, I assume are earbuds like iPod ones).

I've also read the headphones article before, and there is a reason earbuds have their own subsection under (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Headphones#Types_of_headphones). They are a distinct type of headphone. So you made a mistake, take it like a man

Yes, I sort of did. But who wastes money on earbuds anyways? And dude, "in-ear headphones" are NOT equal to "earbuds" -- "in-ears" are another way of saying "canalphones" I believe. Not to mention, in many parts of the world (when I was in England and Israel), the electronics sold "Earbuds" but they actually had like all types of headphones.

 

People with less than $40? Anyway you mentioned "over-ear" headphones and that's why I pointed out that earbuds are in-ear Let's ditch this argument anyway, it's not going to help anyone choose headphones.

Im going to suggest Gummys they come in like 4 or 5 different colours. Cheap under 20$ and great sound. It's what I use.

 

By your own definition, these are in-ear, not earbuds :O But yeah, these are nice. And cheap. And worse than the ones I suggested, but cheaper.

Well i went to best buy today and i picked up some Skullcandy smokin buds in the rasta color
they are by far the best headphones i have used in my life haha the sound quality is so crisp and clear. it has awesome lows,mids, and highs more than i can ask for. grabbed them for 30$ too so that was a plus
