Deleting every piece of evidenve of history on the computer

hello all,
i was just wondering how do i delete every single bit of evidence that i have been on the computer, i delete the "history" but they still seem to find out ive been on...Can someone smart tell me how to delete everything?

Download CCleaner it will take care of anything you need to have deleted, but a bonified data recovery company/software will get it back, and if your trying to hide from the government get Ultimate Boot CD and run the wiping tool Dariks Boot n Nuke and a 30~ PRNG stream should do it my 200 GB SATA hdd took about 4 days to complete a 35 pass wipe.

Are you using internet explore or firefox either way just click
tools then internet options and click delete cookies the cookies are the links youve been to, or you can click delete files and cookies and anything else you want to delete

and to get it even more go to history then click show in sidebar and then delete today

Everything? Delete the partion of your harddrive .

 

In firefox click.
Firefox > Preferences / options > Privacy Tab > Then There should be 3 boxes up the top. Uncheck them all.
That should help a bit also.

Install Linux. They can't find anything on that I daresay (Not saying its hard to find things, its just you gotta get use to the locale. Like when you first start using Windows, for example).

Set Firefox to clear private data on quit. I use Apple Safari 3 Beta for Windows. It is uber fast, and it has features such as Private Browsing to take care of things like this

It also depends on whether your parents have an internet security suite, which can keep logs of sites, and require administration privilleges to be able to access / edit / remove logs.

 

Tools>clear private data>click all of them then ok

2. If all else fales just wipe your hardrive. I'm guessing someone has posted a program to do that with by now.

 

If you're using IE you go to:

Tools > Internet options > Delete... And you have it.
