Suggestion for this forum (Admins read)

I see alot of people scamming on this forum sellers/buyers and I think one rule (for sellers) needs to be added to the "Steam accounts sales rules"

A rule to enforce every seller to post his Email address and make it public
and visible for everyone since its easy to scam if your email isnt public or is not posted on your thread. Email addresses should not be allowed to be exchange in private since there is no way to prove you were really talking to the owner of a thread or not I will explain..

I start a new thread selling account "x" my email address is not posted on my thread so people private message me to get it. buyer "x" contact me (pm) asking for my email I give him one contact email address (msn) he adds me I wait for payment then go offline. So how is the buyer going to prove that it was me? even if he ask me before to post on the theread we were talking that still doesnt prove that was my email address cause it was sent by private message. so i just continue "selling" scamming ppl with different email addresses.

That scam works for buyers too. Also there should be a sticky about how everyone who buys or sell need to take pictures of the messenger window or convo I see ppl posting every day that they were scammed by "x" user but dont have any proof.

When you get scammed and have proof msn legit pictures showing one email address, Admins search for that email address if there is no match the person does not get banned. If the sellers's email address wasnt posted on his thread how are admins here going to find a match to ban the person, even if you have proof of the scam.

 

Or you could just ask for a PM and your problems are solved.

I posted this cause it happend to me I had proof all proof required to ban one user here since he contacted me by pm the user was not banned even i had the private messages and posts on my thread, his email wasnt visible to the admins so my request to ban him was rejected cause they couldnt find a match.
