Runefest

How many of you guy’s have been?
Tell me your experience.

Legit sounds like the most nerdy thing ever, but I’m literally set on going next year.
My girlfriend and I have never been to the U.K. so it’d be a trip that both of us could enjoy.
Have any of you guy’s gone to Runefest?

I haven't been to Runefest, seen some videos of it tho. True, pretty nerdy stuff going on there But can be a fun time.
You have nothing to lose - trip to UK alone is worth something

She’s got two kids with me & a third on the way. She ain’t going no where.
Lock’em down with kids before you bring up Runefest, that’s the key.

 

I just happened to be on vacation in the area where it was held last year. When I heard it was happening I went to buy tickets but it was like $145 if I recall the day of. So I just hung around outside the building for a bit and I was very surprised with the people I saw. You'd think it would be a bunch of glasses wearing skinny kids but that's dead wrong. The most common people I saw were aged 30-50. Very few teens or people in their 20s. However these older men and women were all acting like kids, it was great to see how RS can instantly make people revert to their inner child. The best moment was when I saw these two guys who must of been 60 years old act out a mage vs melee pk fight.

 

That's classic as hell.
Sounds amazing.
The only thing I'm not terribly sure of, is I literally know NOTHING about RS3.
So I'm curious how much of RuneFest is gears towards RS3 Vs. OSRS
