    Torah codes, true or false?

Basically I watched something on the history channel yesterday about these torah codes, and I was astounded, it's basically codes in the bible (i think it's the bible, correct me if I'm wrong.) that people found and they tell events that have happened so far in the future.
But it seems to me like they mainly revolved around the U.S., there was a few out of country but maybe it's just me.

Now I'm slightly athiest but this makes me believe otherwise, some believe that it was aliens that brought this here ages ago, others believe that god himself wrote it.

do you think it's true, or do you think it's just random rubbish?

    heres an informational link to.

    Torah codes, true or false?

Didn't check the link (sorry, I'm lazy), but it is pretty incredible to look at some of the prophecies - especially in Daniel as it relates to the world powers and the role they play from Babylon, Medo-Persian and onward.

Also, the Torah is the first section of the Bible (Old Testament or Hebrew Scriptures). It's the only part Jewish people use since they'd don't acknowledge Jesus as the Christ. The second part of the Bible is the New Testament or Christian-Greek scriptures.

These aren't true. Do you think people over 2000 years ago put codes in the bible so that today we could find out some secret truth. The idea is just stupid.

They didn't convince me, they were just really intresting.

I didn't exactly read the website thoroughly but the show I watched on the history channel was astounding, if you could watch you'd probably like it, but probably not.

then again, t.v. can make anything convincing.

    Torah codes, true or false?

True, t.v. can make you believe anything. Honestly, the program was probably slightly biased in the Christianity direction.
However, the prophecies throughout the Bible are amazing. There are over 300 prophecies about Jesus Christ in the Old Testament, and He doesn't appear until the New Testament. Every single prophecy came true (according to the New Testament), and not one was false. That, to me, is pretty incredible.
As to the Torah codes - I think the theologians and historians are reading into them too much. They could be real, and I don't doubt the validity of the Bible, but I'm sure they would have been made more clear if we were meant to know about them.

    Torah codes, true or false?

The New Testament was just beginning to be written down around 40 years after Jesus's death. It's no wonder that all of these prophecies "came true".

    Torah codes, true or false?

You know that niether God or Jesus wrote anything in the bible. All the passages were written by ordinary people back then.

    Torah codes, true or false?

The prophecies were of His life and death - and are found in the Old Testament. If you'd like, I could type them all up.

His life and death were chronicled beginning around 40 years after his death. Personally, I feel that that is too large a chunk of time to ensure great accuracy about his life and death.

Your quite right. Anyone who does not believe in God would have a difficult time understanding how that could be done, so I know what you're saying.

If you want to believe in that, watch The DaVinci Code or read it.

The DaVinci Code was fiction. Literally. Dan Brown even wrote in the beginning "This is a work of fiction".

    Torah codes, true or false?

The Torah code is also called the "Bible code" I have seen these codes before. Honestly its mostly luck, or faith. In the book "Mobi Dick" or how ever it was spelled they found the lines "John F Kennedy" "Assassinated" and the date. That book was written regularly. I am big into Christian religious but god said "No one will know when the end was to happen" so by going by faith that proves out the Bible code. In the end its your opinion.
