Your thoughts about Hungary?

Inspired by Tornstol's thread, here I am, curious about what you all think about the country I come from (Hungary).

Does this even say anything to you? If so, what comes to your mind first, when you hear this country?

First thing that comes to my mind about Hungary is world war I.

 

All I think is food.

Mmmm food hungry etc.

I'm sure it's a lovely place though haha.

 

Nothing comes to mind really other than the recent passing of a woman who couldn't board her plane due to her weight and health condition.

I just don't know much or barely anything regarding Hungary.

 

Heh both world wars were terrible for us, the treaty too... And yeah... What comes to your mind regarding WWI though?

How can you be Hungary next to Turkey and Greece :I

 

I don't know much about this country but it just makes me feel like I'm hungry

 

All I know is Prague, that it was a soviet satellite nation, and that it started WWI.

 

Big noses, unattractive women, hairy in general, poor, third world. But then again, the same comes to mind when I think of Romanians, so unless you guys are similar in phenotype and economy, I don't know squat about Hungary

Haha, you do realise that people claim Hunagarian women the most attractive? Poor third world... Well, ya;
The economy is shitty in both countries, but for a different reason. Romania denied to pay back WWI and WWII and later loans that were borrowed by the previous political parties, so no big companies were attracted at all. Hungary has bad leaders, lazy people, who rather complain than do about it, not to mention the WW treaties and the fact that we can barely pay the interest of all the money we owe, so we aren't really amking a step from A to B.
Whats up with the big noses? If that is a reference to jewish individuals, we don't have that many in Hungary. Hairy in general? Lol

Also Prague is the capital of Czech Rep.

Thought it was like on the line of Danube somewhere else.

 

First thing that comes to my mind is it's flag to be honest lol.

 

It's in the castle district

The black/dark brown spire in the front is the Calvintist church, the white spite in the back is the Matthias church

 

Omfg; Didn't notice it... Yeah, I know where it is now... Meh... Embarrassing, seeing I live about 20mins from there, in the same district lol.

Just never seen it from that view before, and it confused me :O

I saw thinking Slovenia or another one of those eastern European nations. All of the Soviet puppet nations tend to run together after a while.

 

We were never a part of the Soviet Union Slovenia wasn't either

Kazakhstan, Belarus, Lithuania, Turkmenistan, Kirgizistan, Uzbegistan, Ukraine, Latvia, Russia and Estonia were part of the SU that I recall atm.
