iPod Touch 2nd Gen (Need Help Fixing)

    Hello!

I need help fixing my iPod Touch 2nd Generation
    2nd Gen's Model # A1288

Anyways Its been broken for around a year... :(
I've had a droid and no real reason to get it fixed.
However now I'd like it functioning.

    So here's my PROBLEM
    - It was jailbroken... :( Bad Mistake
    - I decided it was running awkwardly, so I decided to reset it
    - After the process was done...
** It freezes on the Apple Logo while the Loading Bars (GIF?) freeze and it will stay that way until it dies...**

I have seen ways on YT on how t fix the problem, I just can't seem to do them myself, as I am not that technologically inclined...

I have teamviewer 7 and If you think you know how to fix this problem because you are a smart person or have dealt with this problem before,
    PLEASE CONTACT ME :)

    Skype: TSori11
(You will probably get a message back within minutes...)
This is really the only way of contacting me unless requested otherwise in the comments!

    PAYMENT
Well I'm really not looking to pay too much money as I feel all this requires is a simple install of the newer software onto the device.
However I am not complaining, so pick your price.
But if you want to do it for free, be my guest.
    Its Optional Payment
    I can pay...
    PP
    RSGP
    WoW Gold
on BlackWater Raiders A, and Fizzcrank H,
I can also do graphics... (GIF, Signatures, YT BG's, Intros (Somewhat), Motion Graphics (Editing), and pretty much anything if you give me specifics and dimension sizes with a max file size.

Thank you for reading this, and I hope one of you can help me.
    :)

Try putting it into restore mode.

To do that, hold down the home and sleep button for 20-25 seconds (the shut down screen will appear but keep holding down the two buttons). When the apple appears, let go of the sleep button (The button on the top), but keep holding on the home button until the connect to itunes logo comes on the screen.

Add me on Skype if you still need help.

This happened to my old ipod 3g.
Hold the power button until it turns off. Then hold the home button and plug in your charge and keep holding the home button. (Hold the home button before plugging in the charger. Something should appear on your computer screen and just follow that.

I've had an issue like this happen to me as well. The most simple way to fix this is by Restoring and Updating the iPod Completely. I'll try and put this in a few simple steps for you.

Before doing ANYTHING Sync and Backup your iPod to iTunes.

Putting your iPod into Recovery Mode
    • First, you will need to put your iPod into Recovery Mode. Recovery Mode basically means your iPod will be completely set-up and ready to be Restored in iTunes. To put your iPod into Recovery mode;
    • Press and hold the Standby Button (Button at the Top of the iPod) AND the home button while your iPod is turned off.
    • As soon as the Apple Logo pops up, as it normally should when turning your iPod on, release the Standby Button.
    • Wait for around thirty seconds.
    • After thirty seconds, a screen should pop up asking you to Plug your iPod into your Computer/Laptop and connect to iTunes.

    Restoring your iPod
    • As soon as you plug your iPod into your PC, iTunes should open and a message will alert you that it's found a device in Recovery Mode and you will need to Restore it.
    • From here, follow the prompts that come up on the screen to restore your iPod. If you're not on the most current Firmware, that will need to be downloaded and installed to your iPod as well, but iTunes should do all of this for you automatically.
    • Once you've finished following the prompts in iTunes, your iPod should turn on completely fresh and ready to go. If you don't have anything on it, just Sync everything over or restore from the backup.

Hopefully that helps, best of luck! If you need anything else just PM me or reply to this post :)
