Token Bets//Virtual RSGP Gambling

I find the idea intriguing, however I honestly do not trust any gambling websites that deal in RSGP or other forms of game currency. Mainly because I don't trust their coding. Casinos/gambling websites are not there for you to make a ton of money, they are there to make money and with being such a niche market with little to no legal repercussions I simply do not trust the sites.

THAT BEING SAID, I am still curious about them, and please do not get me wrong I am not bad-talking these websites, Token Bets included (I used the name so you guys know what I'm talking about) this is my own personal opinion and absolutely does not reflect the true operations of these sites as I do not know for a fact.

Lost 10m on a site, I had the worst hand every time, was straight bull.

I've fiddled around with it for an hour or so, I managed to work 80m up to 120m before realising that's a solid $50 USD and cashed out and haven't gone back. The odds are always in the favour of the sites, just like any other form of gambling. I generally try to stay clear from games of chance. Happy to bet on stuff such as sports as it makes the games more entertaining to me, and I have a bit of knowledge so that makes me feel I have an edge.

Only had the one example, which I did well. I've heard of people losing ridiculous amounts of money though.

No, but I think people should be very cautious about these websites.

Sounds like you have some good self control. I've thought about giving it a shot just to see what it's like but when I first got to the site and tried to figure it out I was honestly confused as hell (can't remember which site specifically it was) so I didn't bother.

 

Used some of the sites mainly just to keep cash "safe" at times. Gambled a bit not sure whether I'm up or down as it was a little amount.

 

i'm pretty sure it's possible to actually control the outcomes regardless what they say the odds are. I remember reading that you can make the odds pay off billions of reps later making the first few billion flips actually pay off less. I would look into that.

 

Working for Tokenbets, I can say it's a solid casino. As with any place you gamble, the odds will always be in the favor of the house, it's just how it goes. The only time a scam occurs, at least in RSGP-based websites, is the cashin process. Similar to many aspects of trading, it's always highly recommended to confirm that you are trading the correct person the amount you're trying to cash into the website. Sometimes, impostors come along and manage to fool people, which is unfortunate. I've seen people win and lose bills within a matter of minutes, so it certainly is possible to walk out of one of those websites with a couple extra thousand dollars in your pocket. Just have to know the golden rule: what goes up must come down.

Would you say that the "casino" style sites are more volatile than staking? By that I mean do you believe one is "safer" than the other?

 

It's probably more "safe" to gamble at a reputable runescape casino for someone new, just because there are people at the duel arena that try "trick" newcomers by changing rules and other things. There are also bugs that have been abused throughout runescape's history in order to give unfair advantages / rigging duels, so that could be worrysome. If you aren't an expert, I wouldn't stake.

That being said, maxed vs. maxed staking is definitely less volatile than gambling at a casino that always has an advantage on you. It is really the only way of really getting a true 50/50 or "coin-flip" gamble.

 

I wouldn't necessarily say that. If you gamble at a reputable website that you trust (that's up to you to determine) then I feel it is far safer, actually. If a site glitch occurs that causes you to lose your money, then the website will work to make it right and refund you. On the other hand, if a staker finds a glitch and you are one of the unfortunate ones to stake him, you're out your money. The duel arena has had it's fair share of glitches. With that said, I think it's fair to reason that reputable RSGP gambling websites are safer.

 

OP, I hope your aware that TokenBets has 0% rake on poker, therefore they do not profit from you playing poker you get 100% of your winnings.

Personally I've lost over 300M 07 on Tokenbets, solely because The other player's were better than me but some people on their have over 17Billion profit(07GP)

I have tried bigboibets. It was a terrible experience. The staff are terrible, the games are terrible. But meh, probably just being salty because I lost a couple hundred mill.

 

Nah loyal, your not just being salty, bigboibets has a rake that tb doesn't, dice is worse odds and they don't have roulette, plus the cashiers are much less friendly it seems at bigboibets. All-in-all i'd recommend Tokenbets, cashiers are nice and if you want something witthout a house edge, go play some poker!

 

Never understood the exact reason for runescape token gambling sites. You're depositing RSGP, getting tokens to gamble and if you win withdraw rsgp. Eventually, you either sell the rsgp for irl$ or you keep the rsgp to play with (which might aswel just duel stake on rs, removing the middleman.

Is there really a reason to use a runescape token gambling site over a regular casino website?

 

Eliminates the need for legal currency (it's a legal issue, as far as I know). People enjoyed gambling in-game, so why not add more games to a website?

 

Ive used many rs3 gambling sites, as a earlier poster stated the house always has the best odds but that doenst mean you cannot make extremely large amounts of gold. I turned 15m into 321 million in just a hour bettng, then lost half of it on the next bet lol, its no different that betting in w54 if you use a dice roll or percentage game.

 

Thats exactly why i do rsgp gambling and btc gambling too, much less hassle cashing in and out, plus dicing was fun.
