So I Got My SAT Scores Back..

So this would be the first time I took the SATs.

My score was:

1510

Is that out of 2400 or out of 1600?

I got a 1180/1600 or 1650/2400 the first time I took the SATS my Sophomore year totally unprepared. But the scores I got I hear are really good for the first time taking it on Sophomore year.

 

It's out of 2400.

What's SAT ?

 

It's basically a really important test that you take at the end of high school and colleges look at it to see if you're good enough to go to their college, they're really important. SAT stands for Scholastic Assessment Test.

 

Argh, In Australia they are OP (Overall progress) and it's measured from school work yr 11 & 12 and final national tests in yr 12 (called QCS). 1 is the best and will get you into anything you want, and 25 is the worst, and you won't be going to college lol.

 

Heh I like Australia's system. I have tons of family in Brisbane and an uncle and aunt in Sydney and another uncle and aunt in Melbourne.

Im a sophmore, and Im taking the PSAT's in like 5 days. I take the SAT's in my junior and senior year. The ones Im taking just prepares you for the SAT's, it doesn't count for shit, but if you do AMAZING I heard you might not have to take the actual SAT's. But thats only if you get in the 2300s, which is almost impossible lol

 

We just have exams at the end of your (high)school period.

 

That's pretty good for a first timer.

You took them when you were a senior? I plan on my junior year. But my brother did that so I'm curious as to what he got
