    Need advice, Learn new language (German)

    So i have 6 weeks of college and i want to spend that time learning to speak German, obviously im not looking to be fluent in 6 weeks but id like to be able to hold short conversation in German and then work on it throughout the year hoping to eventually be fluentish and i was just wondering, Does anyone have any good tips, techniques, softwear or anything else that would help me on my way to learning german?

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated

    What i have already;
    Huge selection of Dvd's that i can watch in german, idk if this helps but in german lessons at school ( i didn't pay much attention, got an E at GCSE German) so i thought that may be a good idea to watch the odd movie in German from time to time.

    I have Every single rosetta stone :L

    So please post away :) you'll make my day.. :)

    Just stick to it and try to remember German names for things around your house - that helped me a lot when learning Latin. Use Rosetta Stone every day you can to try to get through the lessons.

    Also learn the grammar along with the words or you'll have a tough time putting words together.
