APA Report, Report + Example
When typing the actual report in a paper, the user has to be very careful. Through the report there is a lot of information, and it is very easy to make a mistake.


Report Guidelines:

• The entire report should be DS
• All Margins should be 1 inch
• Title should be centered and BOLD
• Pargraphs should be indented
• Following the specific rules for quoting

Within the header of a Report:

• Follow the same rules as within the header of an Abstract
• This should be on each page (besides the Title Page)

APA Report, Reference Page + Example:
There is no doubt that the references is the most important part of a paper. Without the proper references, someone may fail their paper. Without references, the writer would have plagirized all their data on the paper.

Reference Guidelines:

• Header as always
• All typing should be SS
• The words "REFERENCES" should be centered 2 inches from the top of the page, BOLD, not caps
• There should be a DS after the heading and seperate sources
• Hanging indents should follow Alpha Order

Terms and Types of Quotes:

• SS: Single Space
• DS: Double Space
• Parenthetical Citations: (Authors Last name, year, page)
• Long Quote: Touches more than 4 lines within the report, all lines indented with NO quotation marks. This must be SS. (Authors Last Name, year, pg#) -- NO period
• Short Quote: Touches less than 4 lines, uses quotation marks (Authors Lat Name, Year, Pg#)
• Alpha Order: Alphabetical

I wrote many papers in all formats last school year, and none of this is plagerizied. This is based off the knowledge I gained in my previous class and the notes I had taken.
Please note this "Electronic Mail Report" was copied from a text book during the school year, upon teachers direction to do so.
