I talked to him for the past few days trying to make a deal with him. He always and only take OSRS 7 gold. I don't even play OSRS anymore so I figured he would take paypal. When I asked him, he doesn't want to take paypal because he is not old enough to make an account and that his previous and multiple accounts were all limited. He has over 20 paypal accounts in which all of them were limited.

He decided that he will take Moneypak under his terms which I let him explain how we should proceed. He told me buy MoneyPak and then give MM the code. He will give MM the VISA Prepaid card # and 3 digits and MM would give him the Moneypak code. From there, I would receive the Visa Prepaid card # and 3 digits and whatnot. What he could have done is put up a Tracking ID #, signature confirmation, and proof of delivery while he ships the cards out as I mentioned but he doesn't want to. The fact is that he believes that I would scam him by saying something like I didn't receive the cards in the mail or whatever.

From my understanding, I didn't feel that this trade would turn out to be what I expected to be a "legitimate trade". I asked him if I gave the MM the code, would he send out the physical gift cards out to me? He refuses to ship the VISA cards to me but instead would rather give me the card # and pin/exp through the internet.

Now, I can see a lot of problems with this and why he doesn't want to ship the physical card to me.

    1. VISA Prepaid has been registered under his own account.(
    2. VISA Prepaid has a pin ( Requires a pin to use in checkout, not required online purchases)
    3. He can spend the cards immedietely after both of us receiving the codes we exchanged.
3a. He'll cash the cards out using bluebird (walmart) or use a cashback method at walmart or any other store that takes cashback.

Now, I ask myself why did he choose to accept Money Pak all of a sudden? I would have gone with OSRS Gold if I played runescape OSRS and had 61M as he asked which is valued at 180-200 dollars. Well even if I did go with what he accepted as payment, the fact is that he refuses to ship the cards. He doesn't want me to have the physical card, but he wants to keep it. MoneyPak and OSRS gold are both non-refundable once you have passed the gold or code.

How would he be able to redeem the moneypak? I think a paypal account is required. He might have just lied about his age so that I would think he doesn't take paypal but we can lie about anything and get away with it online. Seeing him as a new member who recently joined in Dec. 2013.

To sum it all up, he wants OSRS, Moneypak but not paypal. I can do Moneypak, and OSRS but takes a while but both are non-refundable and you can't charge back if scammed. He wanted moneypak so I agreed then during the very near end of the convo, he said he'll give me the visa #, pin, and exp ( basically the codes ). I declined his offer and said that I wanted them shipped to my house. He said no, how would MM verify that Mccune sent me the cards? Simple, add insurance, tracking, delivery confirmation, signature confirmation. Although its not enough proof to show that the cards are really in the mail, I would never try to scam ANYONE. He then accuses me as a new member but failed realize that I am a older member than he is.

The real question is why would he want moneypak? Moneypak is a great way to give money to someone. You can't get your money back once you give the code to the buyer or seller. The fact that he won't ship the visa prepaid cards AFTER I gave the MM the codes or after he receives it, im best out of luck of $180-200 bucks.

It's fine imo - don't blame people for being sceptical of methods they're perhaps unfamiliar with
