bitcoin question

If this isn't the right area to post this question I apologize. Can someone explain something about bitcoins to me, i downloaded the wallet app but I didnt create a log in, how does it keep track of my coin(s)?

 

The wallet app? The official bitcoin wallet? It uses bitcoin addresses.

If you are able to accept or distribute money through bitcoin in any way shape or form, you have created an account. I think you did an automatic creation of the account such as google + but wit some other company or software.

 

That video pretty much breaks it down for ya, but as far as choosing a wallet- I would go with coinbase. They'll explain how to buy and sell your coins. Will take 2 weeks to verify your bank account for future transactions though
