Is this a phisher's email?

I got emails from [email protected] saying my account was banned for RWT.
Out of curiosity, I clicked the link (seeing it looked like the secure RuneScape login) and Google Chrome picked it up as a Phishing site.

So I decided to check my offences on the account and found it was in the safe zone.

I'm assuming it is, but just a warning to everyone that gets the message.

just about all the emails from jagex.com right now are fake emails that have phishing hyperlinks in them.
just look at what link leads you to... most of them are like secure-runescape.com or secure.ruienscape.com or I've even seen secure.runezcape.com

 

Always look at your black marks to see if the email is true or not.99% of the emails saying you've been banned for RWT is a lie

 

Always alway look at the top url to see what it is. Or do what I usually do, which is hover my mouse over the url to see what it's real address is -



Makes it very difficult to get phished.

 

Fake email address.

Phishing link that is disguised.

Always check what the link actually is.

 

It's fake. Do NOT click on it.
