While selling your account, PLEASE make sure to block out some of your non-combat stats as Jagex DOES have access to Sythe.org and they have the right to ban your account for RWT'ing. And while showing pics, Please block out your RS username and when posting a picture of the login screen, block out the IP. I can't count how many times i've posted on peoples threads to do these for their own personal safety .

And as for new sellers, It'd be good to include the following things:

-A Way to contact you(MSN, Skype, Etc.)
-A/W Price
-Current Bid
-Willing to use a MM/OMM
Etc.

I've posted it a good 15-20 times .

 

Ive never blocked anything in 6 years and i've never had a problem/ban.

 

Well, just to play it safe . I've seen my friend banned before from posting an acc. here. Why do you think people block out their info? it's not like Jagex can't get to this website. They do whatever they can to crack down on RWT'ers. It might not have happened to you but it's always best to play it safe rather than paying for it in the long run.

 

Whatever helps you sleep at night, but im willing to bet my rares on it that they don't waste their time.

Contrary to popular belief. It is not possible to get banned for failing to block out your account's stats.

Why not?

Simple: people can post accounts that are maxed or very good but the accounts aren't even theirs. But Jagex cannot prove the account is theirs and this thread is irrelevant.

Oh, my misunderstanding. I thought you were trying to get a point across saying this thread is useless or something. Ya, they usually don't spend their time going out and looking but they occasionally do . You never know.. You can't predict what they do . And some of the things I put up there are required to even make a thread under this topic anyway .

 

I see what your doing but, one wrong section, two this is common sence and as far as I know/concerned jagex doesn't have the right to come to sythe and ban accounts, that's why everyone doesn't block there stuff. Just saying.

tbh I block some of my stats out not saying your wrong, not saying your right, all it is making people feel safer about selling accounts.
