Timing Out during a stake?

Staked some kid yesterday with obs and movement on, he was down like like 5 health and ran away and i got caught in an obstacle for a second and it said the player has timed out and nobody won. Is there a certain way or certain rules so that you can time out during a stake? please advise!

xlog do you mean? im not sure what he did but i asked him how he did it and he said he wouldnt tell me for free..he was at 5 health ran away cuz move was on w/ no forfeit and it just said to me your opponent has timed out! there was no winner! its the first time it has happened to me in prob 150 stakes.

 

He xlogged on you. And no, there is no rule you can set to prevent that.

 

how did he xlog tho? just turned off his computer? it only took like 5 seconds after he ran away

 

he probably xlogged, to prevent him from losing. It happens, and will happen more than it should, that's just one of the downfalls of staking with obs as they can stay out of combat for 30 seconds or whatever it is, and just close out of the client or the browser
