Time for a new name Request Thread?

Hey there, Sythe community! ​

First I'll start off by introducing myself. I joined Sythe a few months ago in the hopes of learning about trading/selling Runescape usernames, with the possibility of buying one for my own use. I'm still pretty new, but I've managed to get a grasp of how it all works. Thanks to some people more experienced than me with names and Sythe I've managed to buy/sell some names, and continue to watch the threads. I think one of the main starting points for people new to name sales is viewing the Name request thread to check on names they may want themselves located

However, I think it could use a bit of a makeover. I don't know blingarmy and I certainly don't want to take away all that he has done with the thread. I also understand assigned mods try to update it every once in a while, but you have to admit that it has fallen behind with a lot of the requests people are putting in. I really think a new sticky thread would benefit a lot of people, especially with so many names about to be released. I would not mind making the thread and keeping it updated at all but I think an active Sythe member with lots of prior experience with names, or just knowing how to keep a Thread looking good and updated would be better. Would appreciate any feedback on what everyone else thinks!

 

With the name market getting a major overhaul very soon because of the changes jagex is making, I don't see the need to completely overhaul the thread just yet.
When the change is done, and the market settles down however it's probably a different story.
