I will personally say I support Ron Paul for his opinions on Sound Money and cutting the government!

Who do you guys support? Why? Will you go and vote if you candidate does not win? Will Obama win again?

All I know is having met both Romney and Paul, Romney definitely made more of an impact on me. He was immensely more friendly.

However, that has little to do with politics but even so, Romney has executive experience and he managed a great state for more than a few years. He almost single-handedly saved Massachusetts' economy from the recession.

    He has my vote.

Romney has grabbed a lot of votes like that. But, I feel experience beats all, and Paul has lived through good and bad America. Paul has been great here in Texas and has been a major impact by keeping his opinions true and consistent. Though I do feel Romney has a big change of winning the GOP party, I feel that Paul could lead the country better. Romney is a flip flopper and what happens when he needs to make a decision as president. The constitution is the base of America and the "establishment" fears Ron Paul only because he wants to take away the establishments power so we can stick with America's foundation.

"Our country's founders cherished liberty, not democracy." - Ron Paul
"An enemy generally says and believes what he wishes" - Thomas Jefferson

Flip-flopper has a negative connotation. Beliefs and opinions should be, and are, dynamic. I'm sure you don't believe what your parents do, or what you did as a child, at least not entirely. And I'd also go so far as to assume you'd prefer it that way. Should I call you a flip-flopper for once holding an opinion and then changing it? Romney runs his political campaigns like a business. He acts on the customers behalf and provides what the customer needs. That's exactly what a president is supposed to do. Act in such a way that the majority agrees.

Doesn't matter if you're consistent if you're daft. (I mean that in the nicest way possible) Paul just isn't the most intelligent of men, nor does he claim to be. However, he does lack executive experience. Entirely. He's a legislature at heart, and a darn good one and that's exactly where he should remain. Romney and Paul work on good terms regularly. I wouldn't be surprised if Paul were to run with Romney during the actual election. (Or vice versa, however unlikely)

Also, libertarianism (to which Paul closely identifies with) and social liberalism (the ideals upon which the nation was founded) are two entirely different ideologies. They're actually extremely different upon inspection.

I would like to see Barack Obama get re-elected, not because I like him, but because I feel like the other runner-ups are fucktard McGee's.
