Traveling Abroad *Poem*

I’ve got hopes,
and dreams,
of cruising on my own boat,
all around the world; under the sun’s beams.

See those places,
few get to see,
those memories nothing can replace,
oh what a dream that would be.

Who am I kidding,
I said dream... it won’t ever be a reality,
after I told this to my girl... I left her at the park sitting,
thinking about what I’ve said on my walk home... my life ended in a tragic fatality.
