Banned for ban evading (some1 except benwise90)

IWriteTragediesNotSins was my older brother's old account, which was banned for posting links to porn websites. On his user cp, is says that he is only temporarily banned, so I assumed that it was only a temp ban.

I made The Rising Tied soon after he was banned, and I was unaware that it was a permanent ban. A while back, I checked IWriteTragediesNotSins user cp, and thought that it was only a temp ban, so I continued to be active and post on The Rising Tied.

In the rules it says:

I assumed that this only applied to permanent bans, since temporary bans can be waited out, and will eventually be over. I assumed IWriteTragediesNotSin's ban was temp, so I kept on posting on The Rising Tied.

In my short stint on The Rising Tied, I haven't committed any major offenses, except for one spam and a couple of backseat moderation offenses, so keeping me won't cause any harm . I have also been very active & I contribute alot, I used to have a free botting service, and I help alot of people that ask me questions via pm.

My brother doesn't remember his password to IWriteTragediesNotSins, so there's no way I could have know that he was permabanned, not temp as his user cp shows.

I hope you decide to keep me, and if you don't I understand why

Can a mod other than ben please review this, he is the one that banned me so he'll obviously decide to keep me banned.

 

Here's to clear it up for you:

You're responsible for your IP address. If he posted porn, you will remain banned. It was only a temporary ban because sectionals can only give temporary bans (until a Global+ makes it a permanent).

You won't be unbanned, quit posting disputes. Benwise90 knows what he's talking about.
