My computer has died on me, and i need a new gaming pc. I've not got the cash to buy the parts to build one, and a family member has a salary reduction scheme at their work place, and they can buy things like pc's, e.t.c. from a certain company and just pay back a little a month which im thinking of doing.

This is the entire spec's and stuff ill get with the pc, and i was wondering if you guys think i should get it.

Id mainly be playing WoW, the CoD series, Counter Strike and The Elder Scrols online when that is released,

That'll run most games on very high settings.

Thanks, i know im paying over the odds on the computer ~$2,250 but i dont have a decent enough job to buy the parts in one, and if i bought parts each payday, id still need ~4 months just to get all the parts. This way i can just get it straight away and pay monthly.

That works. A lot of the stuff on it is overkill. Two monitors, the Beats audio console... Most motherboards support HD audio now, and if you have an HDTV, you'll probably want to watch bluray videos on that, not your pc. You could drive the price down by eliminating bluray and the audio card, and one of the monitors, if you really wanted.

The CPU is overkill for gaming, anything over a 3570 is unneeded really. Also, 2 gaming monitors could be brought down to 1 to save money. See if you can get a 1TB HDD with a bigger SSD, you will enjoy that more. 16 gigs is barely enough to have windows installed on it.

Actually it's not enough. With 8GB of ram, the windows page file and hibernation file will be 8gb each, totaling 16gb. The OS won't even fit.

You can turn hibernate mode off I believe, and I think the windows page file adjusts to what is needed?

Anyways, I just checked and my whole windows OS is 14.6 gigs, and I have 8 gigs of ram.

    overpriced like a cunt.

This is my honest opinion(I bought a prebuilt, worst choice ever).
WAIT TILL YOU CAN AFFORD TO BUILD YOUR OWN. $1k would get around the same rig as that(least here in aus, usually cheaper in the US).
If you don't take my advice, well that pc should play all the games you mention on high ez.

16gig ssd is fucking pointless unless its used for caching or w/e, you could prolly just fit windows on that(with updates coming out not for long either) and barely programs like web browser n shit rly, like what an ssds used for, os and main programs.

I'm not sure what you are on. $1000 would not get anywhere near to what he got. He has dual screen monitors, which is easily $300+ if they are decent.

@OP, it is a lot better to build your own pc. Overall, it's quite nice though. Is the ram 1600 Mhz?

I honestly dont know, its all coming pre-built and packaged so i cant remove options unfortunatley, but ill probably just end up selling some parts i dont need and using it to upgrade bits that would help me.

1k for the tower, 400 for peripherals(being pretty generous) , 1400, still cheap as chips compared to the prebuilt lmao.
