Thoughts on spending money on skins

I personally believe it's a good investment if you're already putting so many hours in it, what are your thoughts?

I've spent 500$ ish on skins my self, I can still resell it if I quit the game so it's not that bad.

 

Not to sure what you mean? Are you referring to people gambling there skins or people buying skins lol. I personally believe its fine people can spend there money on what ever they want to lol. Csgo skins retain there value to a certain degree, so its a heck of a lot better then buying csgo cases.

you can always resell them if you lose intrest of the game or need money again so i don't think there too bad to buy

 

don't. Got scammed for £200 and it could just be me but i find the only way to sell skins is opskins. however their fees etc made me look towards facebook groups and got scammed like that. keep your money for real shit is the way i say now

 

csgo skins are risky to sell

 

market is pretty safe, though csgo lounge is full of scammers tbh

 

Not considered an investment if its price will very likely go down. More cases opened and new skins, means the skins drop. Some are stable but all have eventually dropped even a tiny bit. It really depends though. I bought a m9 Sapphire for 665 keys, I could probably quick sell it and lose 10 keys. Really depends on the user though, if you can afford to lose on it. This is my dream knife and I dont mind a 10 key loss.

Yeah I agree eventually everything will go down in price, and even though it'll be awesome that its so cheap, its bad because it lost so much value.

 

When I first got into CSGO. Having skins was a big deal. Three donkey years later after loosin valuable skins to rigged betting sites. I stopped habit of buying skins.

 

It is fine, just like buying anything in my opinion. If it makes you happy, and hurts no one else, then go for it.

But seriously, would you buy a car? You buy what you like, period.

 

A car is physical which is a better investment than a digital skin. Its not really an opinion, its a fact. They have lost value and are not a good investment. Cars may depreciate in value but some go up over time. I cant see a CSGO skin being worth much in 10 years time. Better off buying copper pennies.

P.S I own about 3k in CSGO skins.

 

What is a better investment is subjective.

 

It just makes it a bit funner. Seeing a plain skin makes you feel like silver days all over again
