so i'm wanting to build a pc, or buy one for relaxed gaming (Minecraft, LoL, etc) not really wanting to spend too much as i am in college and don't want to break the bank for something i wont use all the time.

This is what i have put together, what do you think? any additions? Changes?

This is around the top of my budget, maybe willing to spend up to $350 usd

I'm not really a computer genius so I can't really help but if you want some expert opinions on it you should post the build to www.reddit.com/r/buildapc. There's some really smart people on there who will definitely be able to create the best build for your money.

Should really go for at least a core i3 processor. They're cheap and will really out perform a pentium on any level.

Or switch over to AMD if you're going budget. :/

If you plan on using micro center: http://www.microcenter.com/site/products/amd_bundles.aspx

AMD Bundles will come in around the same cost as your intel pentium and motherboard, but a much better processor (even if I personally dislike AMD processors).

Also, if you are using Micro Center - watch for the Open Box deals in graphics cards that have mail-in rebates as well. As they are still considered "from the store", you can apply the mail-in rebates to them. So on top of them being discounted, you get the MIR. :D

    Here is an example:

Open box $119.96 + $20 MIR -> $99.96 for a GTX 750 OC... not a bad deal for a budget build. (Might not work with that PSU)

Here is another from the AMD side:

Open box $159.96 + 10% discount + $10 MIR -> $133.96 for a relatively strong card (but may not work with that PSU).

Id certainly go AMD before going with a Pentium CPU,

The aforementioned price for the gtx 750 graphics card is fantastic. That's a proven great little card, and for 100 bucks....its a genuine steal. It will work well with your 400w PSU without issues. In fact, a nice thing about the 750 cards is that most of them pull their power from the PCI bus, so no cables needed iirc. Plus its a maxwell card, so not only are they efficient but they run cooler too.

I would do a vishera quad core, $60 mobo, 4GB 1600 RAM, 500W PSU or more if needed, and the best video card you can get
