Zulrah Account Question

Okay, been on WoW for quite a bit and decided it’s time to change things up. I want to make a zulrah pure just to farm a bunch of gold and possibly sell the account later after I’m finished. The goal is a ps4 from scratch with no real time frame. Just think it’d be fun to buy one with money I made from playing other games.

My question is, what build do I want to go for maximum efficiency? I’m reading void was nerfed and that was the initial plan, but if void is considered not very great for pvm anymore, I’d probably be better off going a 1 def route and be ready to start farming it in days compared to the extra day it would take to farm void.

What’s the BEST non maxed main way to farm the boss? I don’t want to get barrows gloves at all.

Ive never done the boss before but don’t think it’ll be too rough after welfaring it for a while.

Fastest way to be zulrah ready is mage only. Weather its ahrims or void with a trident. If you want to do it a little faster you can bring a blowpipe with a range switch.

 

Can you expand just a bit on this? Had no idea mage only was any good.

 

It's not the best but if youre wanting to get started soon it's the fastest way. Hypothetically you could start at 75 mage only with a trident and no other combat stats.

 

Thanks. If you were to make an account from level 3 JUST to do zulrah as efficiently as possible while NOT being maxed, what would be your build?

I know, kinda picky for requirements I just don’t want to waste time doing stuff I don’t need to do.

 

I wouldn't recommend 1 def if you're going to be farming because that will increase your supply cost. You can cast Mage with Defence xp, then auto alch to 80 or 85 mage. I'm no expert in low level Zulrah maybe someone else will be able to give you some more insight!

Well starting fast I guess is really relative. Plan on all the annoying things do be done through a service. I could auto click 75+ mage by tomorrow or something though. I’m thinking about just sucking it up and busting out the majority of the qps for barrows gloves myself, paying for the longer quests, auto clicking 90+ mage and cannoning to 75 range, and making a range tank. I just don’t want to if it’s not necessary lmao. Is void really that bad now? Or do people over exaggerate?

 

70 defence
85 range/mage
Alch whilst questing / doing agility for quest reqs
range = cannon daggs while training defence (do mm for d scim)
and chin 70-85
get 50 prayer instantly

 

Stats for MAX efficiency:
90+ mage and range
70 DEF for ahrims
Gear:
100-120M for gear: ahrims top, ahrims bottom, ancestral hat, eternal boots, occult, trident, book of darkness(or better mages book), tormented bracelet. + RANGE GEAR: void or blessed god d'hides, d'hide boots, blowpipe, anguish, ring of suffering + imbued heart.
I would not recommend to do zulrah with just 75 mage and range. It's not worth. 1 kill will take you ~4-5 mins.(lets say 1m profit per hour)
With 99 range and mage my avg kill is ~1:30-1:45(with 120m gear). I kill up to 25 zulrahs per hour. 1 zulrah kill = ~100-110k(without reares). So lets say I make ~2.5-3.5m/hr without rares.

Don't waste your time with Zulrah go Revenants you can make about the same cash per hour with fewer requirements and effort. Just my opinion though.

 

Mage only Zulrah isn't really viable for money in my opinion for the effort required. Range only zulrah with tbow is good but most wont have the bow
