Thoughts and help.

Right, basically i bought an item off a website for neopets which i thought would have been sent to the account yesterday. I never received the item then, and earlier today the website i bought the item off seemed to have been shut down so i opened a dispute through paypal but now the website seems to be back up. Their "live chat" is offline and ive had no response to either the dispute, or the original email i sent to them this morning before the website seemed to have went offline.

Wondering what i should do, whether to escalate my dispute on paypal to a claim, or wait it out till Monday.

 

Wait, you have 45 days to escalate the dispute anyways.

 

I agree. I think that you should wait, and if the transaction hasn't gone through, then simply do your business.

 

thanks might give it till the middle of next week and then escalate my claim. I think if their live customer service is offline constantly till Wednesday next week then it will start to seem fishy.

 

Are they a trusted site and are they known to deliver? If yes, don't worry too much as there might be an issue with the site's servers. Wait it out till a little later as you have 45 days to post a dispute. Do some review on the site and see people's satisfaction. That should give you relief of whether they're scamming you or a error occurred regarding their servers.

 

Neopets seems trusted (they have been around for awhile), so I would just wait it out.

 

its not neopets itself, its a separate site selling neopoints, items e.t.c. The site was down earlier, and is down again. Ive emailed the sales team and have had no response either.

I already opened a dispute earlier today when the site went down the first time, but im giving them till next Saturday to either refund in full before i escalate my dispute into a claim.

Just pissed me off, think from now on im going to use this site for neopets as well, as ive given my old acc to my lil sis who i wanted to surprise with the item tomorrow after she gets back from her dads but it doesn't seem likely now.
