those lame little scams that we fell for as noobs

I fell for *Trimming rune armor* back then:/ Made me feel gullible!

 

Trimming, lost my rune when rune actually meant something..

 

"Yo man lemme try your helm it looks sick"
"One second I'll give it right back"

Took it and changed worlds. It was only a mith full helm but to kid me it felt so bad.

 

Drop party's jojo3000 style is what I did a few times.. fairly unsuccesful though :nuts:

 

Lol, Oh, the days. First day of Free trade, I was scammed half of my bank (16m at the time). Me and about 10 others were "Bidding" on this guys Santa+Bandos, Supposedly he was "Going to College". We had to trade him the money, and He would trade it back, Thus "Locking In" my bid. When I traded him the 16m, He logged. All of the others were in on it, Saying "GF Bank LOLOL"
I was devastated ._.

 

A player private messages you saying something along the lines of "We noticed you helping out fellow runescape players and would like to make you a player moderator"

Me being so naive and stupid at that time, pmed him back saying I was interested. We discussed for a good hour or two, and it all seemed legit ...until I gave him my password and he took my bank. I quit runescape for a year or two after that.

 

This but people did it with mushroom spoors and I fell for it. Also the "trust game".

I also bought 10M from gold4rs and someone pm'd me directly after I received the gold saying " I am sorry (Insert user name of the character who traded me the gold) Doesn't speak very good english, I see you ordered 50M and we only gave you 10M Trade me the 10M back so we can get you the 100M" Don't ask how or why I fell for this scam I was in 3rd maybe 4th grade and it was seconds after I got the gold. I still suspect is was gold4rs pulling this scam.
