To recap, thorpe was inactive for several months, then randomly posted 7 times in 4 days confirming his identity frequently. Five hours after he confirms his identity his account is suddenly compromised by a hacker who could have accessed his email by exploiting Microsoft's lack of security at any time since the db leak, which happened several years ago. The hacker then posts on many threads to initiate trades of many thousands of dollars (and only manages to scam 2m using thorpe's "highly trusted" account), decides to give a nod to blindkilla, thorpe's old friend from the IRC, then continues to swindle sixth graders.

He stole thousands of dollars and is now lying about it, taking advantage of the fact that we can't determine whether the story about the database is true (though a statistician would laugh at the idea that you didn't once notice an old email registered to his account) and using the fact that the only victim who reported him (although more than one accused him of scamming) is now banned.

This is the only evidence to support your case, and it amounts to nothing.

What a waste of human flesh.

 

He seems legit ok he's a nice man and just wants to make a living on scythe dude you are just being a mean person bro wtf bro

Never thought he would be one to do something like this. I hope it's a misunderstanding.

 

Because I'm obviously editing chat logs to make Thorpe look like a scammer, when he isn't.

Also, for the record. That wasn't the email I have of thorpe. To be honest, I wouldn't doubt that thorpe was hacked.

Assuming thorpe was going on a scamming spree. I don't think he would bother coming back. Hes older now, I don't think thorpe would waste time scamming (he was pretty respected back in the day, handling lots of cash).

I'm pretty sure thorpe doesn't play runescape anymore

 

I'd pull up a PM from him saying his email, but wait! My account was deleted.

The money was still scammed off his account. I expect to be paid back if he is to be unbanned.

"It's not my fault if it was in the database hacking." It's not someone's fault either if their Msn is recovered through Microsoft's shitty recovery system.

 

Did you even read the thread? It's pretty clear that he tried to scam several thousands of dollars. He even said hello to you while he was "hacked."

Yea I did read the thread, it just all seems like circumstantial evidence and speculation. The person saying hello could have been anyone in control of the account that recognized me.

When do you have a PM from thorpe's account saying it's his msn? Because I have one of his older msns.

The thorpe I knew wouldn't make some retarded [email protected] email account or whatever the email is in the picture.

Could have been someone else in control of his account this whole time. Even the person disputing right now could be the same as the scammer and not the original thorpe.

To me this is just looking more like that the original thorpe was not in control of his account this whole time.
