I'm immensely furious & appauled at how my original thread got locked.

Sins original post:

From the PM you sent me where you said R2p 'did fuck all' about the recovery, I got the impression that he completely dismissed the account as 'not his problem'. However, looking at his response, it does look like he is sympathetic, but short of a refund (which after 3 years of the account being in your possession is a bit much to expect, especially without proof that the original owner is the one who recovered it) I understand his position that there really isn't much he can do.

Although I've advised him against vouching for a user to encourage a specific trade, R2p assures me that the recovery info he gave you at the time was accurate, and that he did check all of the accounts before he sold them. If that info is being rejected now, it may have something do to with either the original owner posting a claim in the 'hijacked' sticky in the RS account help forum, or simply general changes to the recovery system itself.

From your convos, it also looks like he gave you a phone number for the original owner. I think your best bet is to call him, and see where that gets you.

He wasnt able to provide either of the following (ill still loose out if he offers either of the two, as there was 560m gp on the account which has probably dissapeared by now) 1. A refund 2. Getting the account back into my ownership + some form of compensation for actually putting me through all this rubbish (the only reason i bought from him and paid the extra $ was to avoid exactly this, account recovery dilemmas) so yes, he did infact do 'fuck all' about the recovery, regardless of whether he was sympathetic or not (a sorry? not much in terms of me loosing £220 GBP, is it? even when theres clear proof of him mentioning he'd do all it takes to get the account back into my hands).

Furthermore i simply assumed it was the original owner who recovered as i gave R2pleasent the benefit of the doubt as he is a trusted trader on this site. For all i know it COULD be either the original owner OR R2pleasent. Also, R2 could've recovered the account and sold it again for an extra profit. Also regarding refund, no it is not unfair to expect one, i paid £220 GP to have sole access and possession to this account regardless of whether it has been 3 or 30 years.

Fortunately enough, i stumbled upon this thread http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=1268299 , and to quote

Again, i've called the number provided by R2pleasent numerous times and the call doesnt seem to go through (even though it is his job to deal with shit like this, once again, this was the only reason i forked out extra $ so i wouldnt have to be dealing with this nonsense)

If it was any other sythe.org user im sure he/she would've been banned by now.

 

Do you have any evidence the account was recovered?

 

Clashfun, How do i go about obtaining evidence such as that? i've adamantly tried logging in everyday, each and every time the 'invalid password or username' box pops up

Its been 3 years, Will didnt guarantee a recovery, he said he would help.
