There's no tech forum (That I know of >.>), so I figured I'd post it here.

Last night my cell phone landed in a cup of Dr. Pepper. Now it only turns on when you plug it into the charger and even with that, it shuts off after about 10 seconds and you have to repeat that process over again.

There is no sun, I don't know what to do, lol.

What carrier do you have? You may have to buy yourself a new phone if you have verizon for sure (that's all I've ever had) because they don't cover water damage, however, if you have insurance (from asurion for example) then it usually costs about 50 dollars for a like-new replacement.

It seems to me that the coke destroyed your battery. If you buy a new one, your phone MIGHT still work, but often times, water damage makes buttons non-responsive, and you're not going to know unless you risk spending money on a new battery.

    I hope I helped.

When my battery went bad on my old Chocolate (I had Verizon) I just had to pay a 50 dollar replacement fee and I got a brand new Chocolate, and I didn't have insurance.

    heres what to do.

get a vacuum and put your phone on the floor, place the vacuum over the phone and it will begin to suck out the dr.pepper, while its sucking it out it will also create heat which the dr.pepper will evaporate in.

after you sucked out all the soda open your vacuum cleaner and pour it in a cup

    stick in vagina

acctualy, if you are fast enough, you could have taken out the battery and placed it, and your phone in a bowl of dry rice, it will soak all the moisture out and TADA, good as new.

Also, hairdryers work wonders. They're like cellphone duct tape.
