Third sprite sig.

Hey guys, this is my third sprite sig and I would like to show you. I made it today and I really like it. Named it after my favorite song by rise against, "injection." Rate it, price it, class it, do whatever you want. If you copyright it I will tell the sythe mods. I made it 100% and I will make a tutorial later on. I would class it a med novice. I will open a customs shop soon probably taking rs cash, accounts or even doing it for free. I'm a nice guy willing to mentor people. Oh and tbh I use photoshop cs2. For mentoring just add my msn [email protected]. I'll usually be on it and will respond in a good manner.

 

Basicly overused the c4d's colors are a bit dull, and the tag could use a bit of "flow".

I like what you've done with the text but the fonts don't look great, and I don't like what you've done with the overlay on the little text, I can't even read it.

Just some points so you can improve

 

Not bad, I like the effect.

 

I think it has perfect flow. You're not supposed to read the subtext, it's only there for decoration. And there are 4 different c4ds in the sig

 

Text can be improved, but nice job on the sprite.

 

Then you do not understand the meaning of flow, cause your flow looks like an whirlwind just some c4d's pasted in the tag.

You are supposed to read the subtext, because if you cannot it's useless.
the 4 different c4d's give 4 different effects and make the tag chaotic when it doesn't have to be.

 

Render/Text are too small xD

 

Too small of render, you used a bad choice of text (but who doesn't) and the colors need to be better. 6/10.

 

it's a sprite... You're supposed to have it small...Look it up. And would there be a point in downloading a different font that might not turn out right? You're not really supposed to read the subtext, It's there to be overlayed and I was thinking of adding a clipping mask rectangle over the text. The c4d to the right I admit could have been rotated, and maybe set to screen or color dodge. Thanks for the CC anyway I guess. Usually my subtext says the same thing, I usually motion blur it the way the sig is going and set it to overlay, duplitcate the layer and set it to lighten and erase what doesn't look good. It says injection, best song by rise against imo .

 

Sprites need to be small, that's why it called a sprite.

Yes I understand it but some stuff just doesn't work out to well like the overlay, I'm just trying to explain adding some c4d's in a sig isn't really your work is it? the main part was made by other people in a 3d program, just my tip: DO NOT overuse them.

This isn't bitching or anything this were the responses of people before the graphics section died.

Yes, but if they put it up on planetrenders or deviant and give permission why not use it?

 

Yeah sure, but in the bigger graphics you get looked downapon if you fill your signature with just images made in a 3d program, this wil look kinda spectacular to the people who don't know what c4d's are but not to the better people around.

It's generaly better to only use a few or even none, because everybody can set a c4d on lighten or screen, and put a gradient map or photo filter over them, but you did not make the effects someone else did.

Edit here's an old find of mine no c4d's used and the effect looks kinda nice and different (don't mind the text yes it looks crap)
