Third age mage armor worth it?

So I was bored today and had nothing better to do so I decided to sell my santa (3/4th of my total wealth sadly) and dice with it. I ended up winning bets for 100m, 60m, and 30m, and lost nothing so I ended up with about 160-170m in winnings, dont remember exactly...

Anyway, I was pretty happy and I am able to afford third age mage armor. I know it isnt really better than ahrims but I dont know what else to buy with the 160m and I want something rare.

In your opinion do you guys thinks its worth it or is something else rare that would be cool.

I don't personally think its worth it, you could just get maxed mage gear instead

 

It's only worth it if you count the value of having something that most people don't. It's more of a novelty item, while still being slightly practical.

 

Only the helm is worth it, if you can't afford virtus.

It's mainly for looks, like other rares. The stat bonuses just aren't worth it.

Honestly, you should buy back your santa for investment purposes and then spend the money you gained from dicing on whatever you want. However, third age armor is not worth it imo, you will probably regret it in the long run unless your just going for looks.

 

If you like the looks of it, go for it! I think wearing stuff that's expensive and flashy on RS is really fun, miss my partyhat on my level 3 and noobs asking me to proove it then jizzing when they saw it lol
