Is it worth coming back?

Alright, so basically I had an account from when I was young, I has the 10 year cape, maxed everything, rare name, ATLEAST 1 of every rare. Then I got perm banned for botting/macroing. I had done very few occasions... That was a year ago and my appeal is still "pending" so I've understood they obviously don't respond to appeals anymore. Anyway, I've given up on that account.

My question is this, is it worth coming back? I had an old level 5 that I'm gonna use again if I do, all stats are 1's though. Nothing's trained, it's fresh. I was so excited to start but once I logged in it became overwhelming realising how much I've got to go I guess. Opinions?
What are the advantages/disadvantages of the game these days?

Tl;dr is it worth coming back after losing everything a year ago? If be starting on a fresh level 3.

 

I'd suggest if u start from lvl 3 u may aswell start 07 because legacy is a flop

 

Don't waste any more of your time on that game. If you're not sure whether or not you want to play a game, there are certainly better things to do.

 

if your gonna come back 07 is the way to go. fuck eoc and that new bullshit they added legacy. rs3 is fucking stupid

 

If you're going to start over, oldschool is the better option.

 

Yeah if you want to get back into runescape then yeah of course you should, starting over is always fun anyways. If you do decide to come back you should go with runescape 2007 though, as runescape 3 and legacy combat are both very bad (in my opinion).

I agree on probably starting 07 instead of EOC/Legacy

 

The economy of RS3 really isn't all that good. Not to mention EoC really is just a cluster-fuck because of the addition of Legacy. I mean, Legacy is good don't get me wrong, but it's nothing compared to OSRS.

If you're going to start over I suggest starting over on OSRS. The J. Mods in charge of OSRS listen FAR more to the feedback of the community than RS3. The polls on OSRS are leaps and bounds more extensive than RS3 as well. Content is being updated all the time and ideas are fresh.

In the long run (approximately 3 years from now) I see OSRS actually taking over RS3 in player-count. EoC and Legacy can't coexist for long. They clash too much in too many areas and building the game around the two systems isn't going to work months or years down the road. The inevitability of one of the systems being ousted is high.

tl;dr- go with OSRS. Better economy. The J. Mods actually care, and you won't have to deal with the bull shit that's the EoC/Legacy cluster fuck.

I hated EOC along with the rest when it came out, until I actually gave it a spin.
I'm probably not going to even bother with oldschool because I like RS3 too much now.

 

EoC is better than 07, especially if you're thinking about grinding lots of skills - fuck no g/e

 

Im am going to agree with Roary. If you want to level up fast I highly uggest you do RS3. 07 is a bit complexed and so is Rs3 but you will get the hang of it =)

 

Man 07 is such a griiiiind, I know it's nostalgic but nah. RS3 is where it's at, especially with the introduction of Legacy

 

Legacy is decent, but yeah it is a bitch to start over and if you are contemplating coming back, 07 is a lot more fun in my opinion.
