    Construction Suggestions v2

As some of you know, I recently made a thread on the official Runescape forums about much needed Construction updates. Anyways, I'll revise it a bit, and post a new thread about it. If you support any ideas, please let me know. Everything below this will be added to the official Runescape forums in a thread by me.

Construction is one of the most expensive skills to get to 99, but has the worst rewards. I myself am a huge Construction addict. If I had hundreds of millions of gold, it would probably mostly go to my house. However, I personally don't see much of a reward at level 99. Even house parties are very hard to have, because of the tedious tasks that the host must do to keep the party people happy. In my opinion, the Construction skill needs some added benefits, and I'll list you off a few of my suggestions.

    Suggestion #1: Notes

Have you ever had a clan event at your house, and needed to share crucial information with the clan, but hate repeating yourself to every clan member? What if there was a hot spot in your dining room where you could write a note on your wall (kind of like a bulletin board, or plaque). I could see three versions of this, each requires a higher Construction level.

Paper Note (Requires 1 Papyrus and 1 Charcoal)
When built, it gives you a box that you can write in, and whatever you write, will be written on the note (others must click on it, and they can see what it says). This will look like a piece of paper on your wall, and will not look very nice (limit of 50 words on the note).

Plaque (Requires 1 Chisel and 1 Soft Clay)
When built, it gives you a box that you can write in, and whatever you write, will be written on the plaque (others must click on it, and they can see what it says). This will look like a simple clay plaque on your wall, and will look decent (limit of 100 words on the plaque).

Golden Plaque (Requires 1 Chisel, 1 Soft Clay and 1 Gold Leaf)
When built, it gives you a box that you can write it, and whatever you write, will be written on the plaque (others must click on it, and they can see what it says). This will look like a gilded plaque on your wall, and will match all other gilded furniture (limit of 200 words on the golden plaque).

My suggestion is that when another person in your house clicks "Read" on the note, it will pop up on their screen like how it looks when you click a quest in your quest list (but can look nicer the higher level the note/plaque is).

    Suggestion #2: Advertiser

All of us party hosts have had the problem of getting our house popular and filled with people. My suggestion is simple, your butler will go outside of your player-owned house, at the portal area, and advertise for you. He/she will of course charge you a small fee, but it will be well worth it.

When you ask them to advertise, you will be asked what you want them to advertise for, and will be given a chat box to enter your word(s), whatever you enter, they will say. So say I enter "gilded altar", the butler would go outside and say "Zezima's house for gilded altar!". Whatever you say the first time, it will repeat it, and will say it maybe once every minute. Not all advertisers should advertise at the same time though, or there would be a ton of NPC spam outside the portals. Just make it every minute from the time the person asked the butler, so not all of them advertise at the same time.

    Suggestion #3: Prayer Experience

Have you sat in your house for hours, lighting the burners for complete strangers, while they come in and take a ton of experience away, leaving you nothing in return except for the feeling of helping someone out? I'm sure any of us who have hosted a party have felt this way.

I think that the god that the people are worshiping, should reward you a small bit of experience, since after all, it's your altar and burners. Maybe just a very small percent, such as 1% experience from every bone (or as high as 5%). The person doing the worshiping would still get the same experience, just the house owner should get a bit also.

    Suggestion #4: Announcement System

Running around your house yelling "I'm closing the house, thanks for coming! Kicking all soon!" can be a very tedious task. My suggestion to fix this is to have an announcement system. The house owner should be able to type "global: Thank you all for coming!", and it shows up as "Owner (Zezima) Thank you all for coming!" in a dark red font in the chat box, and will show to anyone in any room or floor, no matter how far away they are (will not display over the persons head).

This could be a very useful system.

    Suggestion #5: Fix Dungeon Junctions

In Dungeon junctions, on each of the 4 sides, there is a small hole, the start of another possible corridor or junction, and it just looks hideous. It should be a smooth brick wall like the rest of the dungeon unless something is built there.

    Suggestion #6: More Teleports

I think in total, there are 7 places that you can make teleports for in a player-owned house. That means you need 2 1/3 portal chambers. Why not just add 2 more teleport locations, so that we can fill the third room with teleports? I'm sure there can easily be other spots to teleport to, such as Pollniveach, Nardah, Edgeville, Neitznot, Karamja, etc.

Anyways, that's all for my suggestions. I hope that you all support them, and can continue to bump this thread, so hopefully Jagex can possibly add some of these to the game.
