    Theft Question

There has been a abandoned Nissan 350z, (20-25,000 Car) parked in a lot for about 2 months now, it isn't touched, and it was in a fender bender. I am 95% sure someone stole it from a surrounding town, and it has no license plates anywhere, and airbags went off inside, one window is slightly broken.

Question: Would it be 'hardcore' punishment if say, the door IS open, and it is, and i just open it\someone else does, and maybe take the seats, the wheel, anything in the glove box\the trunk?

what do you think? it has so much dust, and so much time spent there, it is obviously stolen and hasn't been recovered.

That is still stealing. I really wouldn't trust that car, it looks suspicious.

    Theft Question

Why wouldn't you report this to police??? That seems like a shitty thing to do to someone vehicle. What IF its a bait car. Police use them all the time, j/s.

You need to evaluate your life if you're contemplating bulgrarizing a vehicle, abandoned or not. Wow. Lol.

Suggestion: Call the police and let them know you suspect theres a stolen vehicle parked in a lot and abandoned.

    Theft Question

Touching other peoples cars is so bad in my books. Even if it was stolen there's either a) An owner looking for that car right now b) A police officer waiting for someone to burglarize that car right now. Either or you're scum if you attempt to steal from it.

    Theft Question

Don't do it. Even though you didn't steal the car at minimum you'll be charged with felony receiving stolen property if your caught with any of the parts. In addition to that you would have to prove you didn't steal the car in the first place which may require a lawyer.

It's someone's car. Someone definitely cares about it. People just don't forget about expensive cars. If someone sees the parts of their car being advertised for sale they're most likely going to take notice.

I think it's actually more likely that the car isn't stolen. People who steal cars don't leave them on the street with all their parts. The owner of the car probably had an accident and is trying to sell the car which would explain why he took of the plates, and the accident. If it's been sitting there for 2 months the police already know about it.

    Theft Question

Don't touch it and report it to the police.

You don't know what the reason for the car being there is or who it belongs to. Leave it alone you don't want legal issues or troubles with the owner of the car. Who knows there could even be a dead body in the trunk for all you know and having your finger prints all over the car probably wouldn't be the best idea.
