When you report someone for offensive language, runescape takes a snapshot of the screen, right? Well say I had Eliteswitch up. Does the snapshot they take contain things outside of the immediate runescape box? If they do IM TOATALLY FUCKED.

I highly doubt it. I wouldn't worry about it at all, because I report people all the time and I use eliteswitch. But, if it does then they've probably seen a lot of porn from my reports.. jk

It wouldn't be invading your personal space, but either way, no it does not. It just takes the last 60 seconds of the chat and logs it. I doubt if any actual "picture" is taken, it's more so referring to it being logged.

 

So when you report macroers, does that just tell them to keep a close eye on them? I mean if no picture is taken, how would they know he's actually done something?

I use EliteSwitch and I never got banned so far. Been using it for the past few months or so and I report a lot in Runescape.

 

Nah it doesn't, it can only take in game screenshots, not whats out of it.

 

It only records the chat logs from you and the player your reporting. Nothing else

i don't ever send reports, cuz im either auto typing, or auto fighting, or i've broken a rule in the past 60 seconds, and yet.. my account is 0/10 black marks WOOT dumb ass fagex

(PS) a report sends a clip of the last 60 seconds of that player's screen (inside the rs app) otherwise they couldnt catch autoers.

I've asked a mod about that, all they do is take a picture of the runescape world around that certain character. no inventory. nothing else other than chat and the runescape world window.

 

No, it doesn't take a snapshot of any shit around your RS screen. You should be good.
