If you read it as "M M" then it is an... if you read MM as middleman... well you should know.
I'd go with an, since the reason it is done is for pronunciation and an em em is easier to say than a em em.

That's true, though I don't read MM as em em. I read it as Middle Man, same goes for OMM.
i know the english language but search the forums and i bet half of the community says it one way and half says it the other. this community has gone to the shitter and this thread is proof. pretty funny if you ask me
