So the part where its talking about twisting and connecting 4d, then time travel can be possible - however it is impossible to travel into 5d.

um, that is, we can twist time, however in the past we cant change our options in life?

I see how the theory works, but "folding" the third dimension isnt as easy as that.
You need to "fold" a force that we cannot even touch, if research were conducted we would have to use human beings and that is impossible.

The only way I can think of it is similar to a system restore point.

You conclude one day that yes, you will spend your life on the research and creation of time travel.
So that is your system restore point. You say to yourself that that moment in time will be when you travel to, so that you know whats going on.
All your research will then be focused on travelling to that system restore point and when you are successful, your knowledge from back in time will transfer to your current self so you know that research was successful, then you need to learn to use the "Fold" to return back to where you were.

So basically the 10th dimension is the summation of all dimensions?
So the 7th dimension isnt infinite, nor are the following dimensions, the 10th dimension is the REAL infinite because that is truely where there is no end.
Or is that infinite created in the 7th dimension, and transferred through 8, 9 and 10?

Also, this wouldnt happen to use physics, would it?

    Wow. o_O

That guy had absolutely no idea what he was saying. Anyway, the leading theories hold eleven dimensions. Not ten. And "bending" is a nice concept, but you can't actually bend a dimension unless it's, well, a hypothetical newspaper substitute. They're probably too small for anything but atomic (or sub-atomic) particles to move through anyway.

I'd also like to add to Sin666 by saying that the laws that govern the quantum mechanical world do not apply to anything greater than a few sub-atomic particles due to principle of quantum theory that means quantum weirdness is removed by the size of the system.

The only thing that I couldn't really understand very well is the transportation thing...still a bit empty on that subject....but the rest makes sense in it's own...too much to think about at one time...maybe studying small parts at a time...

Sounds like a 2007 spammer to me.

Noones really responded to me :(

Was that video explaining how time travel could be accomplished, and how the 10th dimension is the summation of all dimensions?

lol, is that a scientific term? ;)

Anyhow, the video makes logical sense to me. But I don't it's very accurate. And it wasn't actually implying that folding dimensions was possible, it only used the concept as a medium of teaching.

Actually, "quantum weirdness" is accepted terminology. The clip doesn't go into the idea that photons can exist in multiple places and nowhere at the same time, (traveling instead with the probability of being in any number of places, until observed and forced to take on a single position), or that photons traveling apart at the speed of light can communicate at a speed faster than that, influencing one another instantaneously simply by one of them being measured, but it's actually rather interesting.

Quantum weirdness is just the easiest way for people to say it doesn't actually make any sense.

You can fold something in a dimension, such as a three dimensional object like a newspaper, not the dimension itself.

I did misuse Quantum Weirdness, I misunderstood something said in the video about sub-atomic particles.

That made me think about things i'v never thought of before

And the more and more it goes on about the subject, it ends up with no real soloution, The 10th dimension is the same as no dimension

I'm honestly gonna get the book, That kept me interested for 12 minutes, which is long enough for me to buy the book

This video said nothing about it, but to everyone saying bending dimensions isn't possible, we arn't truly sure of that, there are theories saying wormholes are "Bends" in dimensions and could put you out "On the other side of the folded paper"

Tell me what you think of that, just a thought

I believe you're confusing the terms 'wormhole' and 'black hole'. Black holes are simply dead stars (balls of VERY dense matter).

Supposing all this was true we still have no possible way to "bend" a dimension. This isn't some material we can toy around with until we get it right and there would be no way to bend dimensions anyway seeing as how they're just concepts in our universe.

Edit: I'm just speculating as I have no prior knowledge on this xD

I found the last part very interesting, but in order for superstrings to be vibrating i nthe tenth dimension, doesn't there nessecarily have to be another point.

a star has a certain time to 'live', after that it's "burned up". First they will become very big, red stars. After some stages they will implode and become dead stars.

I thought the accepted explanation for gravity according to Einstein was a bend in the texture of space. That would also cause a slight fold in dimensions

You could always add another 1d , in another place, making another 10d dot, making an 11d line, then you could repeat those to into infinite dimensions?

this is probably wrong and i probably half misunderstood the video, it was still pretty amazing
