Entire Rules Of Sythe In One Page

I think that every single rule made in Sythe, should be posted in 1 page so that when users need to see whether or not they are breaching the terms of this website, they can see it clearly. So if they miss something, it is their fault entirely.

At the moment the rules at the top of the home page does not include every rule. It should include all the rules in each category, forum, etc.

    --New--
Under the category "GFX Sales & Giveaways" is the following rule: vouching for signatures ISN'T ALLOWED

It's not in the main rules so this can be an easy mistake for a Sythe user to make.
It can be found here: http://www.sythe.org/forumdisplay.php?f=315

In the vouches forum, there are barely any rules. So you would think that to find out more about the rules on vouching, you would have to go to the vouches forums to find out more but it turns out they don't include this rule: http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=721014

    (Now added by FireZ)

    --Newer--
The idea is that we keep everything the same and include some basic homepage rules. However, in addition we include a great big massive set of rules which explains everything.

    --Extra New--
    How to report scammers: http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=611428

    on the non-virtual items thread?

Please make a Vote in the poll above.

    Thanks,

    Ritchynator0.

    --ultra new--

Below is an example of how I saw the rules looking. Sometimes you get certain rules which apply to other sections of forums but can not be seen in those forums. Therefore, by sorting them out correctly and adding the full list of rules, users can go to here for the full list of rules, and moderators can easily link these users to the rules.

The main rules are not precise.

For example, if I wanted to post something in the guides section, the main rules do not show specific rules regarding this category.

By doing this, we can refer to the full rules and will probably lessen the amount of infractions that are being given by the day.

I think he means all the forum-specific rules.
If so, I disagree with you, I think the forum specific rule stickies should stay where they are since they are for that section, and that section only; So it makes sense they go in that section. To know if you are breaking the rules just simply read the stickies in the section(s) you post in. It takes only a couple of moments to do it.

It's basically putting the stickies on the main rules page. It would look too cluttered if we have every section, there's too many sub sections and sub-sub sections stickies in each section.

Why don't people just read the stickies?

That would be a 3000+ word wall of text. Section specific rules stay in specific sections. Those are just the broad and main rules for every section.

No doubt, someone would have to edit this page but I do think it would be a great + to Sythe users.

Copying and pasting stickies into one page was not the initial idea. It was clarifying every point in Sythe into one page. It would also help to adjust certain rules in sub-categories improving Sythe further.

There could be a note under ignoring stickies that listed links to all the forum rules sections of the website, if people really thought it was necessary.

    No support.
Just read the stickies. It pretty easy.. Also, if new users see a huge wall of text do you think they are going to read each one? Imo, they'd be more likely to read stickies that a lot of text.

It's not meant to be an attraction to invite new users. It is there for people to use when they need it.

It is almost like the Terms and Conditions of big companies. They have massive pages and pages of long terms but it means that if a Sythe user makes some sort of complaint, it can be established whether or not his complaint complies with the rules.

There are some stickies in places which apply to other sections. I will try and find an example.

People aren't going to read the SFA specific rules if they only deal with the market. A good amount of users on this site never step foot outside of the market, so theres no need to throw every rule at them at once.

What I have shown could apply to someone only dealing within the market, extremely easily if they were to ask for a vouch after paying someone for advertisement.

I at first agreed with you but then I read through some more and I understood better. I think it should stay the way it is. If you want to sell a runescape account then go to that section and read the rules. It is easier to find in the account section then it would be to search through a huge sticky.
