So what class is the best for dps at 85 now?

and is it hard to get the level 85 boa gear?

At the moment i think mage's are still the best DPS and 85 BoA gear is around 200+ Justice points if im right and they take quite a while to get by random dungeoning and i think it should be a bit quicker if you progress through raids fast but its still a slow process to get BoA's.

If you need any help please ask away in my Q/A thread:

Go with mage as Ranged DPS is trumping melee this expansion. I do admit that Rogue is more fun, so it depends if you want to max / min and do the most DPS, or have more fun.

Get both to 85, you'll make heaps of gold and get to experience both ranged and melee. I play a ret paladin, and generally place in the top 3 dps of my guild raids, beating hunters, mages, locks. It all really comes down to situational awareness, as well as your knowledge of your class. There are no more set rotations for any class, it's all situational or RNG (ret paladins are the pinnacle of RNG these days)

BoA gear requires 1600-2200 justice points for top/shoulders and a bit more (3200 ish?) for weapons etc. Get into a high level guild and raise your reputation, then you can also buy cloaks (5% extra exp) and head pieces (10% extra exp) for gold from the guild shop.

Ok yeah I have the 80 boa gear, just wanted the 85. But yeah I have a 80 dk/pally/mage/rogue. But I only know how to play mage/rogue really.

What's the better mage spec for pvp and pve atm, arc or fire?

I'd consider shaman or Druid as you can gear for ranged dps, melee dps or get gear for both specs ;D
