Ranks and Trust

Hey guys i am sick and tired of these noobs saying how post counts, vouches, join date are the way to know if some1 is trusted or a scammer or something.

To my opinion no1 knows if some1 is a non-scammer. Why you may ask? Because sythe is an internet thing from all across the world.... how do you know the person(unless know in person)..... people say official mm are never scammers..... how do you know? i know they are trusted but they still have a 0.1% that they will scam....... how do you know. So much people on sythe only gain there trust to become official to scam for example el-loco-uno wanted to become official so he can scam.

I think that the way to settle this is that sythe admins and stuff put on trust points or trust ranks by the amount and how legit their vouches are for example------

2 vouches (1 is from 10 post leecher and another from 400 post with 10 vouches) that will be 1 trust point or something cause that vouch is legit

This way the "noobs" will know that the vouches are the real legit and not fake

2. People would trade each other for "trust points", send Pms to each other.

And vouches/join date/posts do count. For example, if a user has over 1,000 posts, and vouches for pin trades, do you think he would scam a pin?

It's possible yes, but likely? No.

there are people with like 1000 posts that joined like 1 month ago you think they are trusted? no because they spam all their posts and only probably like 200 are non spam

 

That is simply not true.. There is NO ONE who has accumulated 1000 posts in a months time, probably not even within 2 or 3 months.. Anyone that spams at that rate is dealt with swiftly.

Whether you like it or not, post count does abstractly reflect your reputation on Sythe. Everyone will deny it, and yet they know it to be true.

Anyway I have to agree with the rest, this idea is ridiculous.

Official MM's for example EARN their trust by doing a large amount of successful trades, and proving themselves trustworthy with large sums of money.
They are HIGHLY unlikely to scam, and the same goes for staff.

The reason these people are secure to trade, and post count/vouches DO matter is because it counts how much you will lose if you scam.

I for example would NEVER scam for a pin, because the money I could make by being legit far outweighs the money I'd make from scamming a pin.
This, however, cannot be said for someone with 10 posts and no vouches. Getting the point?

Vouches and post count are indicators for who is legit and safe to trade, and who isn't. "Trust points" do the EXACT same thing but in a different form. It changes NOTHING, and bares the SAME risk of people abusing it/scamming as vouches and post count do.
