The Report a Spammer Forum

I think in the report a spammer section, the only way you should be able to create a topic is via the Report Post Button. I also think that you should remove the ability to edit topics in this forum. This is so the reports are always legit, and the moderators know what was originally posted. I'm sure this will help save time, so the moderator won't have to try and recover the orginal post.

Go ahead community, try and shoot this idea down.

 

Shoot down the idea? I think It's great. I hate having to report threads by making one, so I usually PM x9. As for the editing in the forums it makes perfect sense to do it so why not do it? Great suggestions.

 

I agree with the idea too... I am sick of going in to do spam reports and just finding a link to the topic and not even being able to see what it is about or anything... I daresay most mods would agree... I will ask in staff lounge.

What about reporting someone for flooding?

 

yeah what about it ??? just report the one post and then we will be able to see the rest when we goto the topic to clean it up...

And there is a general consensus among the staff that this should be implemented.
