I know I can't tell you what to do, but I am anxiously anticipating a pest control/any combat bot.

 

Are these bots free, or credits?

 

Well the PC bot will be out in the near future.

They will all be free while they are in beta. The premium ones will cost credits once they leave beta.

 

i'm am hoping for the release of a miner/woodcutting/runecrafting/combat bot in the near future

 

When these become premium will it be a per month payment or one payment and you're good forever?

Neither, RiD uses a credit system. You buy credits, and they are used up as you run the bot.

 

Well I know that in the first lineup of OSRS bots there will be a miner, wcer, and Pest Control bot.

Any RC bot has not been mentioned thus far. I wouldn't expect it before the v2.0 platform is finished.

Eventually all skills will be covered

Oh, just noticed this thread. Been using RiDiverse recently, and it's great. Very universal, they've also got a great chatbox if anyone wants to check in.

 

Cooking bot added and improved random event support.

Hi Trent! I'm loving what I see over at Robotzindisguise! I have always wanted to try the bots over there, but I have a mac I know that I can get a VM or Parallels etc but that costs a lot of money and I'm not super technical. Any chance of a mac supported download in the future? That would be great because at the moment I'm trying to save up for a pc just to use RID. Thanks and keep up the good work!

 

The bot will run natively on Mac OS X. If you want to minimize it you can follow the How To Minimize Your Bot thread in the Knowledgebase -> Extras section.

That will work for Mac OS X and it is free.

Quick question; when will a proper Fletching script (which supports PC bank), and Hunter be up? Also Agility?

I'm really looking forward to those three. Especially Fletching since I can't get Ridiverse to work correctly haha.

RiDiverse was the first bot to be released for OSRS (and Fishing, ofc). It supports fletching at PC bank. We have many members who have earned 99 already with it. RiDiverse is capable of training Fletching, Cooking (wines/potatoes), Smithing, Crafting, Magic, and Herblore.

Agility will probably be one of the last of the lineup to be released, as it's not a very high priority. I have no idea on any kind of hunter bot, as we don't even have one for EoC yet.

Not at all. The server just went down; it will be brought back up shortly.

EDIT: And for the record, RiD cannot be shut down by Jagex. Neither the bots nor the website violate real life laws, so Jagex can't do anything.

Well, all the bots offered currently by RiD (EoC & OSRS) are operating under the RiD 2.0 beta platform. RiD 2.0 is designed to be immune to BotWatch. Over 200,000 human clicks worth of data was gathered from Veteran+ ranked members to ensure that 2.0 is a perfect system against automated detection systems.

Since entering 2.0 beta, there haven't been any bans, despite most users botting heavily.
