Best War Movie?

i would like to hear all of your suggestions on some of the best war movies. ive been wanting to see "the hurt locker". never got around to it.

My favorite war movie would have to have been Black Hawk Down based on the real lives of the american's trapped miles within enemy territory in somalia. was a very interesting movie and had a touching story line. 5/5

i didn't like black hawk down so much, it even kinda sucked imo. Hurt locker was cool.

watched more but don't remember names now.

 

Saving Private Ryan was really good.

The ad on Sky for The Pacific looks really good! Its from the same people that made Saving Private Ryan (I only saw a bit of that movie lol) but it seems really good.
