    Potato powered MP3 player.

This tut comes from the 'potato powered clocks' back in the 90s.

    The Materials
battery powered MP3 player - almost any kind will do.
    -
2 Potatoes - Idaho or sweet potatoes works best. It still works with store-brand.
    -
2 galvanized nails about 2 inches long. Most nails are galvanized (this allows the potato to power the MP3 player).
    -
copper wire. Only about two or three feet is necessary.
    -
2 connectors. These are needed to connect the wire to the MP3 player.
    -
Headphones/speakers. Music is worthless unless you can hear it :p

    Instructions
    1. Put the nails into the potatoes. 1 nail into each potato, about an inch in.

    2. Wrap the copper wire 10-15 times around the top of the nails. Leave about 3 inches left hanging out. You need this to attach the connectors.

    3. Take your two connectors, and attach one end to the copper wire. One for each potato.

    4. Open the battery compartment of the MP3 player. Attach the ends of the connectors' leads to the springs in the MP3 player.
    5. Hook up your headphones or speakers and turn the MP3 player on.

Now all you have to do is enjoy your music :)
