What would you do?

two days ago i was driving and my friend threw a paper cup half full of water at this guys crappy jeep and the guy started riding my ass so i tried to loose him and got stuck at a light with cars... 15 secs later he comes rolling behind me again... so then I stopped and talked with him since he wasn't driving with a rage. He seemed to not care much.. The next day my parents called me and complained that a police officer showed up at the door with my moms license plate number written down saying what happened (not the attempted outrun part). The guy claimed that i did $400 of damage to his jeep fender (a pos from the 90's) but he would take $200 instead. The guy knew it came from the back seat and wasn't mad at me, but the kid that threw it. Personally I think he just wants $200 for a hooker or something.

Should I call him and tell him to suck my dick and prove that a paper cup did $400 or $200 of damage to his car or just get the kid to pay it? I think i can get the kid to pay it because he said he would if this happened.

PS.. If the man can prove one of these.....
Throwing the cup would be littering and probably a $160 ticket
also, I am only 16 and I can only legally drive with 1 other kid my age, but there was 2 other kids; that could be a ticket also...
also speeding would be a ticket from the outrun...


I think the cheapest thing to do is to make the guy happy and pay him $200 although he does have no proof about what happened, they would probably take a 60 year old man's word over 3 16 year olds even though we are all straight A-B students.

You could take him to court but then you might or might not get a loitering ticket. I dont think you would because the police officer came to your house and didnt give you one there. I would take him to court because i dont think a dam paper cup full of water is going to damage a fender. I think he is trying to pull a fast one, let the justice system decide the result.

if it went to court, one man with no reputation or authority with a bogus claim would probably not be able to prove one single thing that happened. I would have to lie though and say that nobody threw anything but then the guy would be really mad because both of us know what really happened. Idk what would happen.

 

Get a baseball bat, beat the shit out of his car, then pay him the $200

besides, his car is probably only worth $600 to begin with.

Yeah i'd pay him only because you could get in trouble for having 2 other kids with you. If it were just between a littering or paying him, i'd go with the littering ticket rather than pay that fag. But it'd suck to lose your license.

But just having to pay $200 for throwing a paper cup at a car pisses me off. I know i'd hate to pay it but it might be the best option.
