is a 3 letter name rare??

so I was wondering if a 3 letter name is rare?

Yeah they're rare

 

Only if its a common word like "the" or "mom" or "cat" etc

 

depends what letters they are. God for example, would be very rare, while 9p2 would be less.

 

2 letters are automatically rare while 3s are only rare if they make a word, phrase, or just flow well

 

3's arent rare at all unless they're a common word. I made a list a week ago of names like "d8v". I found like 10 name's in 5 minutes, not rare.

 

Not rare, I have about 6-8 names with 3 letters/numbers, random like yours.. It's considered only 2 letters/numbers is rare and common words not random dicitionary words

 

depends and eventually over the course of time they will becone rare.

 

There's over 55,000 possible 3 letter names so I wouldn't really consider them rare at all.

They'd only interest me if they are some common word like the above posters mentioned.

Nah, 3 letter names are rare usually, 3 character names generally are not

 

Number of possible 2-character names (no spaces):

(36*36) = 1,296

Number of possible 3-character names (no spaces):

(36*36*36) = 46,656


So, then, I would venture to say that no, 3-character names are not rare. Especially as there are still plenty of 2-character names in circulation.
