Confused about 99 crafting

I am currently level 71.
I've done some researching, but I've seen so many different ways of doing it, that it just confused the heck out of me . Should I go green hides, or blue? Do I make bodies or vambs? Do I go with this process all the way to 99, or do I use black hides also?? I don't care how much I will spend, but I would like to make at least most of my money back by selling the finished armour...

green dhide bodies are fast but somewhat expensive
Of course since blue is higher, it will be faster xp but more expensive

Does using vambs save $$ because it takes longer?

 

As far as I'm aware, Vambs is 1 hide, chaps are 2 and body is 3.

Doing bodies is the equivalent of 3 vambs in experience. Don't quote me on this as I'm guessing. But as far as I'm aware this is correct.
