In my personal opinion, it would come down to three users;
Zezima - Most talked about and known player in Runescape history

The Old Nite - The tragic story of this gentleman has touched many hearts. RIP.

Gertjaars; He has the all time Runescape total XP. Just because he has just emerged, does not misplace the fact he has worked hard.

Back when I worshiped Runescape players, I would have to say Kids Ranqe.

But I voted Zezima because obviously he's the most well known, discussed, etc.

Being a legend isn't necessarily being known by everyone, or being the best. A legend, in my humble opinion, is someone who is remembered because of their actions, or what they stood for. Someone like The Old Nite, for example. He's a true legend. I would've voted for him if he was on the list.

 

I would say The Old Nite and Tonikoos.
